French club, Paris Saint-Germain are said to have worn out their patience for Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma and are prepared to take actions to solve their goalkeeping problem. During the summer, Barcelona lost Arnau Tenas, who opted to leave the club he has been at since 2010.

More Details

His contract came to an end, and no agreement was reached over an extension. Tenas would go on to join PSG, and he has been backup to Donnarumma in recent months following a freak accident to Sergio Rico earlier in the season. Despite the Italian’s questionable form, Luis Enrique opted to continue with him, although he was forced to play Tenas recently.

Just minutes into PSG’s Ligue 1 fixture with Le Havre, Donnarumma was sent off for a wild challenge. Tenas was brought on for his professional debut, and he greatly impressed, making seven saves and keeping a clean sheet as the French champions recorded a 2-0 victory.

He was also in goal for the 2-1 win over Nantes this weekend. With the important game away to Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA champions league coming up, whoever gets the nod will be a pointer as to the manager’s choice, but the Parisian club are also thinking in the long term.

They are willing to offer Juventus the services of Donnarumma in exchange for Wojciech Szczesny. The Italian goalkeeper has been a longtime transfer target for the Bianconeri. The Turin-based giants have been keeping tabs on the 24-year-old since his days at Milan.

But when his contract with the Rossoneri expired in 2021, he ended moving to France. However, the Italian international hasn’t always impressed in the French capital, with recurring blunders blemishing his displays. So according to a report from Italy, the Ligue 1 champions are keeping tabs on Szczesny who has been delivering great performances for Juventus recently.

The 33-year-old’s stunning saves have been vital for the Old Lady this term, including sensational stops in the victories against Milan, and more recently, Napoli. Therefore, PSG are reportedly looking to sign the Polish veteran while tempting Juventus by offering Donnarumma as a counterpart.

As the source tells it, swapping Szczesny for the Italian wouldn’t be a significant change for Juventus in terms of salaries. The former Milan star is tied to a contract with PSG that runs until 2026. On the other hand, Szczesny’s deal with the Bianconeri expires in 2025. Barcelona would be watching Tenas’ performance with some envy. They tried to re-sign the 22-year-old after his contract expired, but he opted for PSG instead.

Pep Guardiola has dropped the biggest hint that he will gladly sell Juventus target Kalvin Phillips after revealing that the midfielder is not in his plans. Phillips joined Manchester City as one of the finest midfielders in the Premier League and they considered him a heir to the dependable Fernadinho.

However, his spell in Manchester has been below-par as he struggles to play and it is clear that the transfer has not worked. Juventus has been linked with a move for the midfielder in January and Guardiola may have made it easier for them to get their man.

Speaking before their win over Luton the City gaffer said: Phillips? I’m really sorry. I ask a good personality, a good character. He’s the perfect example. It’s just that I visualize something, I visualize the team and I have a little difficulty seeing him, that’s all.” Juventus is also reportedly considering the possibility of signing Felipe Anderson as a free agent in the summer as his contract with Lazio runs down.

It Is suggested that Allegri had expressed a desire to work with the attacker, and Cristiano Giuntoli, the club’s sporting director, is prepared to facilitate the move as soon as there is encouragement to pursue an agreement. Another Lazio forward, Mattia Zaccagni is also in the picture for the Bianconeri, but they can only make a move in the summer.
