Nico Williams has been on the transfer spotlight since his blazing performance at the 2024 Euro as Spain emerged winners. Barcelona led the charge for his acquisition but couldn’t get a deal over the line due to their financial incapability and with another transfer window close by, Ligue 1 giant PSG have joined the race.

While Barcelona still retain the option to acquire Nico Williams next summer, he has fallen down their list of priorities. This open door has attracted interest from other clubs, particularly those in the Premier League. Notably, reports from France as per ED suggest that Paris Saint-Germain are actively pursuing the 22-year-old and are “determined” to secure his signature.

Williams who has seven goals contribution in 22 appearances for Athletic Club this season is attracting interest from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all closely monitoring his situation, eyeing a potential summer move.
Meanwhile, continental giants Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain remain keen on securing his signature. PSG, in particular, demonstrated their interest last summer by reaching out to his representatives.

PSG’s underwhelming performance this season, particularly in the Champions League has prompted manager Luis Enrique to seek reinforcements in the attacking department.
