PSG Planning Frenkie de Jong Swoop From Barcelona

As Barcelona’s highest earning and one of the talents they are ready to part with, Frenkie de Jong is beginning to seem like the best option as they attempt to trade one or two key assets this summer. Of course, many teams would not be able to afford the money they are asking for, and Paris Saint-Germain is one of the four or five that would most likely be willing to sign him.

The Blaugrana are rumored to be seeking €100 million for de Jong, which under normal circumstances may be a fair asking price. However, given the current state of the economy and his enormous salary, this puts them in a difficult negotiation position.
According to certain sources, the club will have to pay €77 million more than just to maintain de Jong for the final two years of his contract.
PSG is reportedly searching for an attacker and a midfield player this summer, who may be de Jong, according to Sport. They will pay €60 million for de Jong with further costs and bonuses potentially bringing the total to almost €80 million.
They intend to sign Girona captain Aleix Garcia with whom they have been strongly associated for a fee of roughly €14 million to €20 million, should de Jong depart.
