According to the report, PSG are already in contact with Felix’s attorneys. As part of their ambitions to strengthen their offensive unit, the French powerhouses are interested in securing the services of the 22-year-old during the forthcoming January transfer window.

For their side, Atletico Madrid has declined to approve any sale for Felix. PSG and Bayern both made many attempts to sell them throughout the summer, and Manchester United even thought about offering to pay €130 million.

However, Atleti was unwilling to part with their greatest attacking asset and held out for the player’s huge €350 million release clause. But a lot has changed since then, and it’s thought that Felix’s connection with the team is currently not in the best of shape.

Due to PSG and Bayern Munich’s persistence in their pursuit, a move away from the Civitas Metropolitano cannot be ruled out in the near future.

The outcome of Felix’s issue may depend on how the next FIFA World Cup plays out. He might be able to force his way back into the Atletico Madrid lineup or give the team the upper hand while negotiating his move in January with the help of a strong performance in Qatar.

Meanwhile…

Yannick Ferreira Carrasco has not had a terrific season thus far. The wide forward from Belgium, who was a key member of Atletico Madrid last season, has struggled to match his performance this year.

Carrasco has only scored one goal in 13 competitive games, which has coincided with Atletico Madrid’s weaknesses in the attacking unit.

Carrasco’s offensive runs out wide have not, in fact, been able to aid the team. In general, he is only a shadow of the player he was two years ago, when he assisted Atletico Madrid in winning the league championship. His lack of productivity has also been a problem.
