Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha is reportedly a summer target for Manchester United.

More Details

In an effort to bolster their forward line before the upcoming campaign, Manchester United have started laying the groundworks to sign Matheus Cunha.

The Brazilian forward has had a fantastic season at Molineux and established himself as one of Wolves’ most dependable offensive performers. Given that a tactical makeover is imminent, the Red Devils have now identified him as a major target to expand their options up front.

Cunha’s agility, inventiveness, and ability to link plays make him a perfect fit for Amorim’s system, which is renowned for its flowing attacking style. If Manchester United are willing to pay, a summer transfer is possible with a release clause of about £62.5 million.

Arsenal have also been keeping an eye on Cunha’s situation, but their present transfer policy prioritises other names above the Brazilian. Nottingham Forest have also expressed interest in the past, but they are viewed as outsiders because Cunha wants to go for a team that is vying for major laurels and European qualification.

Both teams are predicted to advance to the UEFA Champions League the next season, which places them ahead of Manchester United, whose best chances of doing so rest on winning the UEFA Europa League.

Manchester United’s advantage in this competition stems from both their reputation and the foundation they have previously established.

In the upcoming days, it is expected that the player’s agent would travel to England to meet with potential suitors. As talks move forward, Manchester United’s early attempts to make contact and show genuine interest may prove crucial.

According to reports, the Brazilian international is open to a move because he hasn’t been able to contend for trophies during his time with Wolves. The addition of Matheus Cunha to Manchester United’s attack would be astute and exciting.
