For the 2022–23 season, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti wants to improve his forward options in order to ease the pressure on French international Karim Benzema.
Gouiri has scored an impressive 22 Ligue 1 goals in the last two seasons, but Ancelotti lacks a Plan B center forward with Luka Jovic and Borja Mayoral’ both leaving Madrid this summer.
In order to replace Benzema, Ancelotti’s initial plan, according to reports from Diario Sport, was to sign a short-term option. However, a move for Gouiri would be made with an eye toward the future.
According to the report, Real Madrid and Nice are in discussions to lower their current asking price of €40 million, with the possibility of letting him stay in France on loan until either January or the end of the current campaign.

Miguel Gutierrez, a defender for Real Madrid, has finalized a permanent transfer to Girona.
The highly rated left-back made just three La Liga appearances last season after breaking into the Los Blancos first team at the tail end of the 2021–2022 season.
The Madrid native’s lack of playing time sparked rumors that he would leave the Spanish capital, and Girona eventually agreed to sign the 21-year-old.
