Last year, the player struggled with various injuries and hasn’t played much for the Los Blancos this season, so therefore, the club are on the lookout for a quality replacement for him. While the club already have Benjamin Mendy, the player has struggled with injuries too.
To this end, the club hierarchy have identified Arsenal defender, Kieran Tierney as the perfect player who would fit in well at the club and are set to begin preliminary works to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.
Tierney joined Arsenal from Celtic in 2019 in a €25 million move and has grown in leaps and bounds since then and is attracting the interest of the Spanish club.
The player has been really impressive for the English Premier League side and recently signed a deal to remain with the club until 2026 but should the Los Blancos firm up their interest in the player, he could be persuaded to push for a move and he gets to play Champions League football, something he most likely won’t do in the nearest future with the Gunners.
It is expected that a bid of about €50 to €60 million might be enough to get the player in the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile…
Real Madrid coach had described Tierney as prototype left-sided player in his system while he was coaching Italian side, Napoli and should have no problem fitting the player into his team.
Before the player joined Arsenal in 2019, Napoli were also interested in the player while he was at Celtic and Ancelotti when asked about the player, gave this response.

“Am I aware of Kieran Tierney? “I know him and he is a really good player. He is a really good young left back. But he is a Celtic player. The Italian tactician replied.
With Ancelotti having his say in terms of incoming transfer for the Los Blancos, he could help push the club to make a move for the Scottish full-back especially if academy product, Miguel Gutierrez fails to impress this season.
