The Los Blancos may have found a way to get their hands on both target and it involves selling off one of their promising talents, Marco Asensio, as he’s one of the few players left that can command a high fee but is not guaranteed of a place in the starting lineup.

Mbappe, even if he’s going to arrive on a free transfer will command a huge salary plus commission for his agent while Haaland has a fixed price of €75 million plus about €20 million as commission for his agent, not adding the huge salary he is expected to also get, it is pretty much obvious that signing the duo will take a huge financial commitment.

Should the Los Blancos eventually succeed in signing both Mbappe and Haaland, Asensio will himself farther down the pecking order with Rodrygo Goes even ahead of him.

Real Madrid are reported to have placed a €50 million price tag on him and with the expected exit of the likes of Marcelo, Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, Isco and possibly Luka Modric, the club will be able to save a lot in terms of wages, giving them the necessary funds to go after their two targets.

Asensio has had a great time at Real Madrid, but he doesn’t seem to be as good as he was when he first broke onto the scene with spell injuries disrupting his playing career.

Meanwhile…

Italian side, Juventus are said to have expressed their interest in signing the player and have contacted the player’s agent and his club about his availability. While his price tag has already been fixed, Juve might struggle to pay considering how they have been limiting their spending on transfer fees and wages recently.

With the club still involved in a contractual standoff with their Argentine striker, Paulo Dybala, the move for Asensio could probably gain more speed if they fail to reach an agreement with Dybala, whose contract is set to expire in the summer and no agreement is in sight.

English Premier League sides, Arsenal and Liverpool are also said to be interested in the player and they could easily afford his price tag should they firm up their interest in him over the summer and the lure of playing in England could further drive the player away from Juventus, as the English Premier League is seen as a less physical League than the Italian League.
