Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez is a huge admirer of French midfielder, Aurelien Tchouameni, who plays for Monaco but his price tag could prove to be a stumbling block considering the numerous clubs also interested in him, which could create an auction and could race his price tag from the €60 million which is being quoted now to about €80 million.

With much of their funds expected to go to the transfer of Mbappe and Haaland, the Los Blancos may be priced out of the midfield dynamo, hence they’re exploring other options and have identified a low cost option in Sassuolo midfielder, Maxime Lopez. Lopez, 24-years has really stepped up and taken up the midfield mantle for the Italian side since the departure of Manuel Locatelli to Juventus.

Lopez is the only midfielder under 25 who has a reputation for controlling matches. He is an ascending regista who fulfills every obligation of this prestigious role in Italian football.

He could become available for about €25 million but his lack of experience on the big stage may not speak well for the former Marseille player.

Real Madrid have made Mbappe their top priority for the summer but they’re still making moves for the 21-years old Norwegian striker and with his release clause already fixed, his transfer seems pretty straight for any club that can convince the player and his entourage to pick them ahead of the others in the race.

“Real Madrid must do everything they can to sign both Mbappe and Haaland. If they don’t sign Haaland now, they never will.” Guti said.
