Carlos Soler’s agent reportedly offered Real Madrid the possibility to recruit his client in a Bosman transfer during the summer 2023 transfer window, according to a report by the Spanish daily MARCA.
The La Liga champions, however, declined the chance and reiterated that they would first speak with Valencia before going for the Spanish midfielder.
Carlos Soler has developed substantially in stature during his professional career with Valencia, where he has established himself as one of the top midfielders in La Liga. The Spanish international, who has established himself as a regular member of his national team, will bet big on his prospects of earning a spot in Luis Enrique’s team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 25-year-old has had a solid start to the 2022–23 campaign, netting the game-winning goal in Valencia’s 1-0 victory over Girona the previous weekend. But because Soler has reached the final year of his contract with Los Che, his future at the Mestalla remains questionable.
Real Madrid’s midfield dynamics have shifted drastically this week as a result of Casemiro’s unexpected transfer to Manchester United, which is set to be finalized soon.

Meanwhile…
Fans of Real Madrid may be wondering if the club has any intentions to add more players as they wait for Casemiro’s farewell press conference on Monday. But once more, it appears like Eden Hazard will be the backup striker for talismanic striker Karim Benzema.
During the preseason, the Belgian showed flashes of his potential as he reverted to a new position through the Real Madrid attack’s midfield.
But his seven-minute cameo against Celta Vigo sparked concerns about his performance once more. The HLN newspaper in Belgium’s Kristof Terreur was unimpressed.
