REPORT: Aubameyang renews contract

Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal to extend the contract of the club’s captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang, whose current deal with the club expires in June 2021 has been subject of a move away from the club with Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid reportedly interested. The Gabonese international has now committed his future to the club if latest reports are anything to go by.

31-year old Aubameyang has proven his worth this season, scoring twenty nine goals and providing three assists for Arsenal in all conditions including a double in the club’s FA Cup final triumph just under a week ago.

According to Nico Schira of La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Aubameyang’s contract has been extended until 2023, his wages are not known for now but it is believed to be around €12m per season, showing no difference in his current engagement.
