Pedri is anticipated to miss Copa del Rey matches against Las Palmas and Barbastro in addition to their draw with Almeria. Given that the Spanish Supercup semi-final is being played in Saudi Arabia against Osasuna just 22 days after his injury, his availability for that match is also seriously doubtful.

Meanwhile…

Barcelona are on the hunt for a midfielder this January in order to plug the gap left by Sergio Busquets, although they have compared the profile they are looking for to Gavi, after he was ruled out for the rest of the season. One of the players on their radar is 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder Andre.

Along with calling Real Madrid and Barcelona both fantastic teams, he also publicly stated that “if I had to choose, it would be Barcelona,” which will undoubtedly win him over to Culers.

Andre was close to joining Liverpool in the summer, but he has recently been strongly linked to a move to Fulham. Sport claims that Deco has been closely monitoring him as a possible summer option. With only one year remaining on his contract, Fluminense will want to finalize a deal as soon as possible. His price tag is reportedly set at about €30 million.

However, Sport reports that Barcelona may consider him for this winter. If the Blaugrana were to settle on him as the midfielder they wanted, they could look at a loan deal with an agreement to buy in the summer.
