Ronaldo Broke and set a New Record in One Night.

Cristiano Ronaldo became the all-time combined top scorer in World Cup and European Championship history and also equalled the record for most goals scored by a footballer in international games.
The 36 year old Portuguese became the highest goal scorer at the World cup and European finals combined after his well taken penalty in the first half of his team’s Euro 2020 game against Didier Deschamps’ France on Wednesday night gave the Selecao das Quinas the lead. This goal increased his tally ahead of the legendary Germany International Miroslav Klose who had netted 19 times at the world cup and Euro Championship combined.
And just when it seemed that Kareem Benzema’s brace would give the French the maximum points, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second on the night to tie the game and salvage a valuable point for his team.
Ronaldo left the pitch not only as his team’s savior, but also as the all time top scorer at the World cup and the European Championship with his 21 goals, two more than Klose.
This brace against France at Euro on Wednesday also ensures Ronaldo equals former Iran striker Ali Daei’s all-time men’s international goal scoring record of 109 goals in the Portuguese 178th appearance for his national team.
