Despite leading the game twice, City lost on Sunday following a thrilling 3-3 tie with Tottenham at the Etihad.

Arsenal held on to defeat Wolves 2-1 on Saturday, while Liverpool stunned Fulham 4-3 in stoppage time earlier in the afternoon. As a result, the Gunners continue to lead the Premier League standings, while the Reds have surpassed the Citizens to take second position.

The top three teams after 14 games are separated by just three points, with Newcastle, Spurs, and Aston Villa following closely behind.

City is still the overwhelming favorite to win the Premier League for a record fourth time in a row after winning the previous three, but veteran of Manchester United Keane thinks the other teams are more capable of winning right now.

‘I certainly wouldn’t bet against Man City, but I am starting to become doubtful about City winning that title,’ Keane told Sky Sports.

‘But certainly Arsenal and Liverpool I’m looking at, especially Arsenal with the strength and depth they’ve got and the experience of last year.’

Erik ten Hag is anxious to prevent Jadon Sancho from making a “empty gesture,” therefore Manchester United is apparently willing to accept a “significant loss” on him.

Sancho has a disruptive impact on the rest of United’s team, according to manager Ten Hag, who is determined to get rid of the winger.

This season, Sancho and Ten Hag had a nasty falling out, with the Dutchman publicly criticizing his player in the media for his lack of effort in practice. After spending £73 million on him in 2021, United is now willing to suffer a “significant loss” on the player in the January transfer window.
