Following negotiations with the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Real Madrid will receive the Liga trophy twice in the coming week.

More Details

The Federation was supposed to present the trophy to Real Madrid in Granada at Nuevo Los Carmenes the following weekend, but the team might be relegated that day, which would not have gone down well with the home supporters.

Then the RFEF rescheduled the match for the following Tuesday in front of the Santiago Bernabeu crowd against Alaves. However, Real Madrid will not be presenting the trophy to their supporters since they plan to celebrate on Sunday at the Cibeles Fountain and City Hall in Madrid.

According to Marca, Pedro Rocha, President of the RFEF, will formally present Real Madrid with the trophy on Sunday morning at their Valdebebas training facility. The presentation will take place in private. The following Tuesday night, there would be a second presentation made in opposition to Alaves.

Even though Las Palmas hasn’t won in the last ten games, its return to La Liga has been quite successful. Although Garcia Pimienta’s team has slid to 14th place in recent weeks, its escape from relegation has long since been almost guaranteed. Throughout the campaign, they have had a number of exceptional players, Alberto Moleiro among them.

Moleiro, who has been compared to Pedri of Barcelona, has long been regarded as one of Spain’s best football players. He performed admirably in the Segunda the previous season, and he has carried that form into this one. Despite his meager two goals and three assists in La Liga, he has played excellently overall.

Numerous clubs throughout Europe are cognizant of this. Liverpool and Inter Milan are two of the teams that have expressed interest in Moleiro, according to Diario AS. While it’s doubtful that Real Betis and Villarreal could spend the €25–30 million required for Las Palmas to consent to a deal, they are still keeping an eye on the situation.
