Atletico Madrid have pulled the plug on the sale of Angel Correa to Saudi Arabia during the January transfer window.
The Argentine attacker was poised for a move to Al Ittihad with negotiations said to have advanced.
Colchoneros manager Diego Simeone confirmed in the early hours of Friday that the player will remain with the capital club.
“My instincts tell me that Ángel Correa is going to stay at Atlético Madrid”. Said the Argentine gaffer as revealed by Matteo Moretto.
