Saudi Club Could Lose French Trio In What Could Be A Forgettable Transfer Window

Reigning Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad could see three French internationals leave the club before next season.

The Tigers could witness an unprecedented exodus of players over the next two transfer windows.

Players such as club captain Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Moussa Diaby are rumoured to be on their way out of the club.

According to Felix Diaz, Karim Benzema is appalled by the new contract offer from the club.

He has been asked to play for free in the new offer and the player has reportedly asked to be left out of the upcoming games while he sorts his future.

His contract expires in the summer and he could already be on his way out of the club that he led to the double last term.

On N’Golo Kante, the 34 year old has already communicated his desire to leave, even as early as the current window.

Personal terms have already been agreed with Fenerbahce while the Turkish side continue to discuss with Al Ittihad over a final agreement.

Moussa Diaby is another player that has been strongly linked with an exit in the current window.

The 26 year old wants a return to Europe and has reached an agreement with Inter on personal terms.

Only the structure of the deal is missing from the final agreement as reported by Italian journalist Nicolo Schira.

Inter have offered a loan signing with an option to make permanent at a price of €35m.

Al Ittihad meanwhile are holding out for a permanent move or at least, a loan with an obligation to buy.

Talks continue for both Kante and Diaby to leave in the current window while Karim Benzema could see out his contract before leaving for free in the summer.
