Cristiano Ronaldo has reached an agreement with Al Nassr to extend his contract by another year.



The soon to be 40 year old superstar will pen a new and improved one year deal with the Riyadh based outfit.

Playing in his second full season at the club following his move from Manchester United in the winter of 2023, Ronaldo has already shot the club into being one of the most popular in the world.

With his current contract set to expire this summer, the Portuguese international will sign another year long contract that’ll keep him till the summer of 2026.

According to Jacobs Ben, Ronaldo will earn an improved weekly wage of £3m in his new contract.

He’ll also be announced as an official Saudi 2034 World Cup ambassador during the announcement.

The Saudi Pro League Executive Committee feels it can only be right for Ronaldo to be part of the domestic and international TV rights renewal for the league.

With the 2026 World Cup in mind, the Real Madrid legend will continue to lead Al Nassr as they continue their quest in the SPL.

There had been rumours of a possible move back to Europe for Ronaldo but Ali Alabdallh has confirmed the story for a renewal.
