According to Diario AS, the 29-year-old has muscular soreness and is a “severe doubt” for the encounter after missing training on Thursday to work on his recuperation.
Pedri and Ansu Fati, who are both scheduled to miss Saturday’s game, joined Roberto in the gym at the Ciutat Esportiva.
Due to a thigh injury, Pedri will not return until after the international break, while Ansu is experiencing knee discomfort and Barca will not take any chances.
The injury to the teenager is not considered serious, but the club will not rush him back, even though he is anticipated to be fit to play for Spain during the international break if called up.
Barca will be led by Sergi Barjuan on Saturday, and he will have his job cut out for him after successive defeats to Real Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.

Pjanic joined Besiktas on loan this summer after a terrible tenure at Camp Nou, at least so far.
