Sevilla Join Queue For Oscar Bobb
Sevilla are looking for more reinforcements following the late summer exit of Dodi Lukebakio. Head coach Matias Almeyda is keen on proven firepower upfront and as such, they have identified Manchester City’s Oscar Bobb as a viable option.
More Details
Sevilla have emerged as one of several clubs pursuing Oscar Bobb with CaughtOffside reporting that the Andalusian side have already lodged a loan proposal for the Manchester City winger ahead of the January transfer window.
The Norway international is widely expected to leave the Etihad on a temporary basis in search of regular playing time as potential Antoine Semenyo’s arrival could further push him down the pecking order.
However, Sevilla face stiff competition. Fulham, Crystal Palace and Borussia Dortmund have also submitted similar loan enquiries, significantly complicating the Spanish club’s chances of securing his signature. Adding to the interest, Napoli have now joined the race, becoming the latest club to express concrete interest in the 22-year-old.

A loan move would suit Sevilla, who are operating under financial constraints. Los Nervionenses are required to generate at least €10 million in player sales before 30 June, making permanent transfers difficult to pursue. Defender Juanlu Sánchez has been identified as a potential departure to help balance the books.
Meanwhile in Italy, sources told FootItalia that Napoli are actively considering a January approach for Bobb. Head coach Antonio Conte is keen to bolster his squad after a series of injuries disrupted both midfield and attacking options.
Bobb has been highlighted as a priority target due to long-term absences affecting key players, including Kevin De Bruyne, Frank Anguissa, and Billy Gilmour, increasing the urgency for reinforcements as the season progresses.
