Signe Bruun Nominated For Danish Player Of The Year

The Danish and Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon) striker, Signe Bruun has been nominated for the best player in her country (Denmark) in 2021.

She arrived at the French D1 Arkema side this summer from another French outfit, Paris Saint Germain.
This will be the first time in her career that the 23-year-old striker will be nominated for the Danish player of the year. She had already won the Danish Hope of the Year trophy in 2017.
Signe Bruun will vie for the award alongside Pernille Harder (Chelsea) and Rikke Sevecke (Everton). The result will be announced on January 8, 2022.

Signe Bruun had scored six goals in nine French D1 Arkema games this season and is yet to score in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
She is behind PSG’s Marie-Antoniette Katoto (8 goals), Lyon’s Catarina Macario (7 goals), Lyon’s Melvine Malard (seven goals), and Paris FC’s Clara Mateo (with 6 goals and 3 assists).
Lyon occupy the first position on the league table with 27 points from nine games, three points ahead of PSG.
The former European Champions has scored 44 goals in the league this season conceding three goals in the process.
