This would be a big blow to Napoli midfielder, Fabian Ruiz, who is said to be holding out for a transfer to the Spanish capital.
The Los Blancos had earlier in this summer transfer window expressed an interest in the player, but with the contract renewal of Luka Modric, whom he was supposed to replace, the trail has gone cold and with the presence of Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, there is enough player in that position.
With a contract that is set to expire in 2023, a free transfer move next season could be the best possible scenario, a possibility his club, Napoli are trying to avoid.
The Neapolitan club are in negotiations with PSG to sign their goalkeeper, Keylon Navas and have included in the talks, the name of Ruiz. PSG are open to signing the Spanish midfielder, but they would need to do a lot of convincing for the player to shelve his plans of adorning the Madrid colors next season.
With the transfer window set to close on the 1st of September, the Parisians would have to hasten up in their approach of they’re to land the talented Spaniard, with reports that a transfer fee has already been agreed between PSG and Napoli.

Felix is one of the players that coach, Diego Simeone is hoping to count on for this season and Simeone will be hoping that he puts his injury problems behind him and finally justify the huge fee that was paid to sign him from Benfica.
