More Details

The Spanish giants have set their sights on River Plate’s Franco Mastantuono, a young midfielder who has captured the attention of Europe with his exceptional talent.

The 17-year-old’s recent match-winning free-kick has only served to reinforce his reputation as one of South America’s brightest prospects.

Real Madrid’s Sporting Director, Santi Solari, is leading the charge in negotiations with River Plate. An initial bid of €20 million plus add-ons was rejected, but Los Blancos have returned with an improved offer of €25 million as reported by Diario AS.

While River Plate are holding out for a record fee of over €30 million, Real Madrid remain confident of securing the player’s signature. There is also the possibility of leaving Mastantuono at River for another year, given his young age.

Despite interest from Manchester City and Barcelona, the Argentine midfielder is understood to be keen on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid’s strategy of investing in young talent has yielded impressive results. Players like Federico Valverde, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni have blossomed into key contributors, propelling the club to multiple titles.

Building on this success, the Spanish giants are now focused on securing the services of Franco Mastantuono, the next potential jewel in their crown.
