After winning their first ten league games of the season, the following three have been games to forget as Jorge Jesus’ men failed to pick maximum points in any of the fixtures.
After being held to a 2-2 stalemate by Al Ettifaq, the Riyadh giants fell to a 3-2 defeat in Jeddah against Al Ahli before losing at home to Al Qadsiah in a keenly contested encounter.
Goals from Julian Quinones and Nahitan Nandez in the second half was enough to render Cristiano Ronaldo’s late penalty a mere consolation.
Al Hilal on the other hand continued their blistering form as they blew aside Al Hazm in Riyadh earlier in the day.

Goals from Sergej Milinkovic Savic, Ruben Neves and Darwin Nunez handed Simone Inzaghi’s side a convincing win that consolidated their place at the top.
The result is their tenth consecutive win in the league and helps them to open a four point lead at the top of the pile.
Whilst the league is still much at its early stage, Al Hilal have proven that they can sustain the momentum and go all the way to reclaiming their title.
