Al Khaleej hosted Abha Club on Friday evening in a direct clash to beat the drop.

Both teams started the evening on thirteen points with the both sides coming on the back of consecutive losses.

Al Khaleej took advantage of their home fans to snap a run of two losses and inflict a fourth consecutive loss on their rivals.

Fabio Martins, Mohamed Sherif and Ivo Rodrigues all scored to render Zakaria Sami Al Sudani’s goal irrelevant.

Pedro Emanuel’s side jumped to thirteenth on the log with 16 points leaving Youssef Al Mannai’s team in the relegation zone.

Al Taawoun recently ended their mini run of unfortunate results by pipping Al Shabab to a 2-1 win away from home.

Picking up from where they left off in the last round of games, the Buraidah based club did well to put four goals past Al Feiha on Friday evening.
