In a new development by the League Association, foreign players will have an officer monitoring their contracts.
According to a report from Middle East, the League Association will appoint individuals in every club who will oversee the post contract period of foreign players.
This is to have the salaries, expenses, housing tickets and other necessities of foreign players in check.
It is a measure to further improve credibility and accountability in the nascent SPL, and to protect the foreign professionals.
