Stephane Dalmat Suggests Senegalese Forward For Inter

Former Inter Milan midfielder Stephane Dalmat has suggested that the club look into signing Senegalese forward Ismaila Sarr.

The 24 year old winger is the star of the Teranga Lions’ squad at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar where he’s helped them qualify for the knockout stages.

Sarr has been closely followed by Dalmat who appeared for Inter between 2001 and 2005.

The former Stade Rennes winger who was formerly a target of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool is currently playing in the second tier of English football with Watford FC.

43 year old Dalmat on his Instagram account called for the managers of Inter to keep an eye on the young winger as he feels he is one of the most exciting talents.

“Ismaila Sarr, a Watford and Senegal player, must come to Inter: I hope the managers will realise this.” He wrote.

Sarr has made 51 appearances for his nation at the age of 24 and has scored 11 times.

Former Inter Milan striker Gabriel Batistuta has come to the defence of Argentina national team striker Lautaro Martinez.

The Inter Milan forward has yet to explode in his first World Cup after two games and Batistuta, a former Argentine number nine himself has explained while the striker is still struggling.

“Lautaro is a great striker, often decisive, but if the game does not accompany him, we cannot ask him miracles. He suffered a little because Argentina in these two games did not work as we expected.” He told ESPN.

Argentina play Poland on Wednesday night as they bid to secure qualification to the next round following a loss to Saudi Arabia before victory over Mexico put them back in the running.
