The Dammam based club lost to two first half goals from the visitors to stretch winless run to six games.
In the aftermath, coach Steven Gerrard was booed off the pitch by irate Ettifaq supporters.
Gerrard was seen urging his players to go show appreciation to the home fans after the game, in return, the Englishman was met with jeers from the frustrated faithfuls.
After picking up maximum points from the first three games of the season, Gerrard’s side have now gone six without a win.
They have lost four and ended up tying two of those six games, leaving them 11th on the log with 11 points.

The gesture from the home fans could only mean one thing, they’re obviously tired of results coming againt their team.
This could possibly force the management into considering a review of the coach’s work.
Should this be the case, Steven Gerrard could be at risk of losing the job he has held since the summer of 2023.
