Sofia Huerta’s game winner for Seattle Reign against Utah Royals gave her a goal in four different NWSL competitions (Regular season, Challenge Cup, Fall Series, and Summer Cup).

Cristina Ferral scored a brace in the 49th and 78th minutes to help UANL Tigres win the only Summer Cup game played in Mexico, 4-2, over Pachuca.

Gotham FC’s Cassie Miller saved Shea Groom’s penalty kick in the fourth round and Gotham FC went 5-for-5 from the spot to win he first Summer Cup penalty shoot outs.

North Carolina Courage’s Narumi Miura converted in the bottom of the seventh round of the penalty shoot out to earn her side two points against Orlando Pride, 1-1 (5-4 on penalties).

Racing Louisville Savannah DeMelo had the first two assist game of her NWSL career in all competitions as Racing rallied from an early 1-0 deficit to defeat Monterrey 3-1.

Kansas City Current’s Michelle Cooper scored the second fastest goal in the Club history (59 seconds) in the Current’s 3-1 victory over Houston Dash.

Los Angeles’ Sydney Leroux has now scored game winners in the regular season, Challenge Cup and Summer Cup after her 89th minute strike in Angel City FC’s 2-1 victory over Club America.

Portland Thorns’ Christine Sinclair became the first player to score in all five NWSL competitions (regular season, playoffs, Challenge Cup, Fall Series, Summer Cup) and the first 41-year-old goal scorer in the league history.

Portland Thorns’ Meghan Klingenberg had two assists for the third time in her NWSL career, exactly a year after a two-assist game in the Challenge Cup versus San Diego Wave.
