Lately, the club had been able to establish a line of communication with the player’s agent as they look to reignite renewal talks again and the club are said to be optimistic of reaching an agreement with the player.
Dembele, would also like to continue at the Camp Nou but he’s said to be seriously considering the offer he got French giant, PSG. According to Toni Juanmarti, a sports journalist, who tweeted via his official Twitter page, tweeted;
‘For several days, Dembélé has had a written proposal from PSG on the table: 17 million annually plus signing bonus. He further revealed that the Parisians have given him 20 days to reply before they withdraw their offer.
Last week, it was reported the player was willing to lower his wage demands in order to stay at the Nou Camp, with striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s arrival from Arsenal thought to be a factor in his willingness to stay.
But with the huge gap between Barca’s offer and the one from PSG, the player could be tempted to jump ship, especially with his agent, Moussa Sissoko already planning to sell him to another club.
Meanwhile…
Barcelona were very close to signing Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper, Stole Dimitrievski, as Macedonian revealed that he had already agreed with the Blaugrana to join the club as backup to Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

According to him, the move fell through because their backup goalkeeper, Neto refused to leave club at that time, forcing the Catalans to abandon the deal. Dimitrievski recently helped his club beat Barcelona while Neto has failed to make any impact with Barca, despite Ter Stegen stuttering form this season.
