The NWSL Golden Boot Race Is Not Slowing Down

Through another NWSL match weekend, the Golden Boot race has not slowed down.

More Details

A number of players at the top of the scoring leaderboard tallied goals this week to keep the race tight.

Alex Morgan still sits at the top after recording her 12th goal of the season on Saturday.

The goal was the 50th of her NWSL career, placing her fifth all-time in scoring behind Sam Kerr, Christine Sinclair, Lynn Williams, and Jessica McDonald.

Keeping the pace behind her was Rookie of the Year frontrunner Diana Ordoñez, who scored another brace in North Carolina’s 4-0 win over Chicago.
