The convergence of the rescheduled Euros with other World Cup qualifying tournaments means we have a slate of international games that truly showcase the depth of talent across the globe.
The TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2022 starts on July 2 and will send the top four teams in the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to the World Cup.
The CONCACAF Women’s Championship kicks off on July 4, with four World Cup spots and one Olympic spot on the line.
Later in the week, the European Championship begins on July 6 and runs through the end of the month to determine the best team in the Union of European Football Association (UEFA).
Copa America Femenina takes the stage on July 8, as teams in Conmebol also compete for spots at the 2023 World Cup.
The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Cup of Nations rounds out the month beginning July 12, with the winner moving on to the intercontinental playoff to determine if they’ll be joining 2023 host New Zealand at the World Cup.
