Frank has set a high bar for this season, clearly stating his expectation that the Tottenham team will be competitive in every competition.
The 51-year-old manager is focused on establishing a winning culture at the club and is now turning his attention to the Carabao Cup mid-week. He aims to guide Tottenham into the fifth round as he pursues his goal of winning a trophy in his first season as their gaffer.
Tottenham Hotspur are heading to St James’ Park to face Carabao Cup holders Newcastle United in the fourth round on Wednesday. Coming off a confident 3-0 Premier League win against Everton, the team, led by manager Frank, is in good form.
However, due to the intense weekend game, Frank confirmed in his press conference that he plans to rotate the squad against Newcastle. He emphasized that squad rotation is essential for Tottenham to remain competitive with their demanding schedule across different tournaments.

Frank shared some good news about player injuries before the Newcastle game. He confirmed that Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, and Dominic Solanke are all recovering well and are closer to returning to the squad.
However, none of the three players have a confirmed return date, meaning they are expected to be unavailable for the upcoming Carabao Cup fourth-round match at St James’ Park. Therefore, the manager will need to use his current available players to try and defeat Newcastle, who are in strong form with four wins in their last five matches.
Although getting past the current cup holders is a massive challenge, Tottenham’s incredible road performance this season—capped by the recent victory at Everton—means Frank and the squad will be absolutely buzzing with belief as they head to Tyneside.
