Villarreal CF have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey, who will join the club ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Partey is expected to link up with his new teammates tomorrow at the Villarreal Training Ground as preparations for the upcoming campaign continue.
The Ghanaian midfield ace is known for being a dynamic midfielder as he brings stamina, strength, and physical presence, combined with tactical intelligence to the Yellow Submarine squad.
Highly regarded for his ball-winning abilities, Partey is also capable of initiating attacks from deep and progressing play through powerful runs. Additionally, he possesses a strong mid-range shot and a proven ability to break lines when carrying the ball forward.

Villarreal CF also acknowledged that Partey is currently involved in ongoing legal proceedings in England. The player strongly denies all charges and maintains his innocence.
In line with legal norms and the fundamental principle of the presumption of innocence, the club has expressed its respect for the judicial process, which will ultimately determine the facts of the case.
Given the legal restrictions surrounding active cases in England, the club has stated that it will refrain from making further comments at this time.
Throughout his career, Partey has accumulated over 50 caps for the Ghanaian national team and has played for several top clubs, including Arsenal FC, Atlético de Madrid, UD Almería, and RCD Mallorca.
