Time’s up for Eriksen at Inter

Christian Eriksen’s time at Inter has come to an end according to Inter Milan’s CEO, Giuseppe Marotta.

The midfielder who cost the San Siro giants around 27 million Euros a year ago has found life difficult in Italy under Antonio Conte and the club feels it’s best they both go their separate ways.

Speaking just before Inter’s 2-1 win away to Hellas Verona tonight, Marotta confirmed to journalists that the Danish playmaker is available for sale at the club.

“Yes, I can confirm that Christian Eriksen is on the transfer list. He’s not functional to our plans and he had difficulty here at Inter. I think it’s right that Christian goes away to find more space”.

The former Tottenham and Ajax midfielder has been linked with moves to PSG and Manchester United in recent weeks and it remains to be seen if something concrete would come out of those links.
