The 32 year old attacker joined a year ago from Abha Club where he spent his six months.
The Paris born player scored six times for Steven Gerrard’s side in his first six months at the club.

After missing last night’s home loss to Al Ahli, Ekambi has now shown that his mind is made up over his future.

The lanky forward deleted every picture related to Al Ettifaq on his social network while unfollowing the club on Instagram.
Steven Gerrard went on to declare in his post match press conference that the player may not continue with the club.
“Karl Toko Ekambi may not continue with us.” Gerrard said when asked about his misfiring striker.
