Tomori closing in on Everton loan move
Sky Sports report that Everton are closing in on Chelsea’s England international defender, Fikayo Tomori.

The 22-year old central defender has been with the London based club since 2005 but had his breakout year in the Premier League during the 2019/20 season. He has proven to be a reliable squad player for Frank Lampard but the club feels that a move elsewhere is necessary for him to keep developing.
The defender had been in talks with French Ligue 1 side, Rennes but it appears that nothing came out of that as Everton are now in pole position to sign him on loan for the 2020/21 season.
It will be Tomori’s fourth loan move since making his senior debut for Chelsea in the 2015/16 season if a deal materializes. Loan spells at Brighton & Hove Albion, Hull City and Derby County have proven beneficial to his development and Chelsea will be hoping that a year under Carlo Ancelotti will develop him even more.
After missing out on Gabriel Magalhaes, Ancelotti will be looking to Tomori and possibly more defensive reinforcements to help fix his Everton defence that conceded 56 goals in the Premier League last term.
