Ange Postecoglou, the team’s new manager, has frozen out the seasoned stopper, bringing in Guglielmo Vicario as the starting goalie during the summer.

This season, the Italian has participated in all 12 Premier League games for Spurs, with four clean sheets. Vicario’s play has propelled Spurs, who are now two points behind league leaders Manchester City, into the top four before November’s international break.

However, according to Football Insider, Spurs are now considering the possibility of amicably ending Lloris’s contract, with the goalie consenting to be paid out and have his salary removed from the record.

Given that Postecoglou is unwilling to deploy Lloris, who is rumored to be earning approximately £100,000 per week at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the club feels it would be prudent to pay off the remaining few months of his contract.

Since being substituted off the field at halftime during Spurs’ 6-1 loss to Newcastle United in April—a match in which they fell behind 5-0 in only 21 minutes—the 36-year-old has not played.

Erik ten Hag is anxious to prevent Jadon Sancho from making a “empty gesture,” therefore Manchester United is apparently willing to accept a “significant loss” on him.

Sancho has a disruptive impact on the rest of United’s team, according to manager Ten Hag, who is determined to get rid of the winger.

This season, Sancho and Ten Hag had a nasty falling out, with the Dutchman publicly criticizing his player in the media for his lack of effort in practice. After spending £73 million on him in 2021, United is now willing to suffer a “significant loss” on the player in the January transfer window.
