There has reportedly been contact between the two EPL clubs recently, and it is believed that negotiations shouldn’t be too complicated either. Juventus have been trying to sign Lukaku this summer, after his proposed return to Inter Milan fell through and have been pursuing a part-exchange deal that would involve Vlahovic moving to Stamford Bridge plus an extra fee.
This route has failed to work out as both clubs valued each player differently, but the Old Ladies were willing to bring the Belgian to the club in a separate deal. Talks between Juventus and Chelsea have not progressed recently, meaning that the path is clear for Lukaku to join Tottenham if negotiations move forwards in the coming days.
It would represent a fresh start for Lukaku under a new manager as he’s currently unwanted at Chelsea, who didn’t bother assigning him a squad number and he’s training alone, pending a transfer away from the club.

With Brazilian defender, Carlos Augusto set to join Inter Milan, Juve have been slammed for letting the player slip from hand after following the player even before his move to Monza. They have been attracted by his strong performances with Monza and being touted as a potential replacement for Alex Sandro.
However, Juventus have encountered difficulties in completing any signings during this transfer window due to their financial constraints, necessitating player sales to facilitate new acquisitions. This financial limitation has resulted in the club losing out on potential targets to other clubs.

Augusto is now poised to join Inter Milan on loan with a mandatory purchase clause of €13m, a favourable arrangement. Juventus, on the other hand, will miss out on the opportunity to secure such a promising deal. Football analyst Massimo Pavan opines that this could be a missed opportunity for Juventus, highlighting the advantageous terms of the deal that Inter has secured for Carlos Augusto.
”If these conditions turn out to be the real ones, I think this could be considered a potential mistake by Juventus . The Brazilian is strong and would have been useful for the black and whites, even more so if a modest amount was needed to get him.” He said in a recent interview.
