The KFA released a statement confirming the attacker suffered discomfort in his right leg after Monday’s training which was later confirmed to be a strain in the calf. The football association went on to disclose that the decision to leave out the Tottenham striker is down to precautionary measures and nothing more.
Tottenham will hope the report coming out from the camp of the South Korean national team is one to hold on to as Son has proved to be a very important element in coach Nuno Espírito Santo’s Spurs side.

The South Korea captain will undergo further tests to ascertain whether he would be ready for action this weekend as Tottenham resumes hostilities in the premier league when they take on Crystal Palace in a lunchtime kickoff at the Selhurst Park.
Meanwhile…
Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy has been voted into the European Club Association (ECA) board forcing Manchester City’s Ferran Soriano to withdraw his candidacy for the same role the moment it was evident Levy was the preferred choice.
Levy’s appointment comes just five months after his club and eleven others merged to form a breakaway super league which later collapsed. He’ll be joined on the board by representatives from Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.
Levy’s role is yet to be explained but his appointment comes as a boost for Spurs fans as their team is now getting the recognition they long craved.
