All is set for the opening group games of the 2022/2023 UEFA Women’s Champions League as the draw was conducted on Monday with some exciting clashes in sight.

Holders and the most successful team in the Women’s Champions League, Lyon will face Barclays English FA Women’s Super League (WSL) runners-up, Arsenal FC Women, Italian Serie A Women’s Champions, Juventus, and Swiss side FC Zurich in Group C.

2020/2021 Champions and Spanish women’s league winners FC Barcelona Femeni will trade tackles with German Bundesliga women’s side, Bayern Munich, FC Rosengard (Sweden), and Portugal Champions, SL Benfica in Group D.

Barclays English FA Women’s Super League (WSL) Champions, Chelsea FC Women will meet PSG (France), Real Madrid (Spain), and debutant, KFF Villaznia in Group A.

German Bundesliga Women Champions, VfL Wolfsburg were drawn to face SK Slavia Praha (Czech Republic), St. Polten (Austria), and another debutant, AS Roma (Italy).

The draw for the 2022/2023 UEFA Women’s Champions League took place in Nyon with UEFA Champions League Ambassador and former Netherlands International, Manon Melis as draw assistant.

The year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League will kick off on October 19, 2022, with the first set of group games holding till October 20.
