Ittihad of Alexandria have completed the signing of Pyramids FC winger Ibrahim Hassan on a season-long loan, the club announced few days ago.

A product of the Ismaily youth sector, Hassan spent five years in Ismailia, before catching the eyes of Zamalek, who spent €660,000 to bring the winger in July 2018 Zamalek.
Hassan played a huge role in guiding Zamalek to the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup, and despite scoring seven goals and providing eight assists in his debut season, he was let go after just one season to Pyramids FC.
In two-and-a-half seasons with Pyramids FC, Hassan made 61 appearances in which he scored seven goals and provided 12 assists, but fell down the pecking order recently, appearing in just 93 minutes this season.

Searching for more playing time, Pyramids have decided to send the winger on a six-month loan spell to Ittihad of Alexandria, where he will play under head coach Hossam Hassan.
Ibrahim Hassan becomes Ittihad’s third winter signing after Jordan’s Abdallah Nasib and Mohamed Shabana from Zamalek.
Ittihad sit seventh on the league table with 12 points from eight games and will hope the signing of Hassan could push them to a continental qualification spot for the first time since 2006.
