Transfer Update: Struggling Manchester United Linked With A Move For Senegalese Star

In a bid to build a solid team as the season continues, Manchester United have intensify their search for players who can help return the team to where it used to be.

Linked with possibly every available players on the market, Manchester United yet again have been linked with Senegalese Star Ismaila Sarr, but this time will have to battle Leeds United for the signature of the Watford man.

It can be said that the Red Devils have been one of the most talked about clubs in the current window, given the struggles they had been facing in trying to acquire their targets.

Erik Ten Hag’s side have been courting Barcelona midfielder Frankie de Jong for much of the window, however, it is believed that the Dutchman is reluctant to join the English giants.

Now though, it has been reported that United could miss out on another potential signing in the form of Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr. According to the Express, United’s technical director Darren Fletcher travelled to the Hawthorns earlier this week, in keeping tabs on the 24-year-old.

As reported by Foot Mercato, a verbal agreement between Leeds and Watford for Sarr is described as ‘imminent’ despite much work to be done on the move.

Following the departure of Raphinha to Barcelona last month, Leeds are said to be looking for a replacement, with the Senegal winger fitting the bill.

This looks like another blow coming towards Manchester United in the transfer market. Not the best of time for the team as every transfer seems impossible but still a long way to the end of the transfer window.
