Transfers: Roma Bid For Barcelona's Clement Lenglet

While English clubs continue to push for the services of French defender, Clement Lenglet, Roma seem to be moving in the shadows to secure the Frenchman’s signature.

According to Spanish outlet, Sport, Roma are not only interested in the French defender, they may have already made a €15 million proposal to their Spanish counterparts.

The Giallorossi on Monday made this offer which Barca may have been tempted to accept, but they are looking to hold firm and collect a fee of closer to €25 million to let him leave.

It’s also worth pointing out that the player’s preferred destination would be the Premier League but there doesn’t seem to be keen interest from there, so Roma may be his main option at this point.
