Tuchel Scoops Top Award

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel this afternoon was named the German coach of the year beating former Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick and Dortmund manager Erdin Terzic to the top prize.
The 47-year-old tactician garnered 129 of the total votes. 11 more than his closest challenger Hansi Flick. Edin Terzic completed the podium finish with a total of 75 votes, 43 less than Flick’s 118.
Tuchel guided Chelsea to champions league triumph the last term as well as reaching the FA cup final and helping the blues complete a revival that saw them make the top four on the last day of the season.

He only joined Chelsea in January after club legend Frank Lampard was sacked following a run of underwhelming results and the former PSG coach turned around the fortune of the club in less than six months at the helm.
This award is icing on the tremendous job Tuchel has done since he arrived at the Bridge.
