Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, who is linked to Real Madrid, is apparently being courted by the likes of Barcelona and Inter Milan.

More Details

Since joining Chelsea in January 2023 after leaving Benfica for £106.8 million, Fernandez has made 75 appearances in competition.

Although the 23-year-old has started most of his Chelsea games, Belgium international Romeo Lavia has recently replaced him in the starting lineup.

Fernandez has therefore been forced to make do with cameos in Chelsea’s last three games against Manchester United, Liverpool, and Newcastle United.

Due to Real Madrid’s interest, the Argentine has been linked to a possible move away from Chelsea after losing his status in the starting lineup.

According to a recent report, Aurelien Tchouameni might be used by Real Madrid in exchange for Fernandez of Chelsea. However, two other European powerhouses might compete with Real Madrid if they decide to increase their interest.

The Sun claims that Barcelona and Inter are both expressing interest in the 2022 World Cup champion. According to the article, Barcelona and Inter are closely monitoring Fernandez’s status at Stamford Bridge as they consider making a move in 2025.

According to reports, Fernandez is eager to compete for a spot in Enzo Maresca’s squad but is hesitant to spend a significant amount of time on the bench.

Therefore, if he is unable to regain his position in the Chelsea midfield, the Argentina international might think about his future at Chelsea.
