Coman was pulled early in the second half of Bayern’s 2-0 victory over FC Koln due to discomfort. The Frenchman exited the pitch clutching his right groyne.

Jamal Musiala replaced him in the 49th minute, and Coman had to be helped off the pitch by two members of Bayern’s medical team.

The Bavarians are already battling with the loss of winger Serge Gnabry, who suffered a hamstring injury on his return to Emirates Stadium.

In addition, Tarek Buchmann and Bouna Sarr are expected to miss the rest of the season due to injuries, while Leroy Sane and Sacha Boey are uncertain.

Bayern will also be without left-back Alphonso Davies against Mikel Arteta’s Gunners due to a suspension for receiving a yellow card in north London last week.

Erik ten Hag has admitted that Manchester United star Harry Maguire ‘wants to play’ more regularly, amid reports of interest from West Ham.

The Hammers plan to make a fresh bid for Maguire at the end of the season, when he reaches the final year of his current deal at Old Trafford. Maguire was heavily connected with West Ham last summer, but a £30 million transfer to the London Stadium fell through after the east London club had a bid accepted.

The Englishman does not appear to be in Ten Hag’s long-term plans after the Dutchman stripped him of his leadership and has been repeatedly persuaded to join another club.
