UEFA Qualifiers Add World Cup Teams

A few World Cup-qualified teams emerged over the weekend as Union of European Football Association (UEFA) qualifiers continued into this international break.

Germany, England, and Norway all clinched trips down under in wins last weekend.
England’s win not only ensures that the reigning Euros champion will compete for their first World Cup win.
Their 2-0 victory over Austria also seals their October friendly against the United States (U.S), which was pending the team’s qualification for the World Cup.
All eyes now turn to Group C, where 2019 World Cup runners-up Netherlands are in a qualifying fight.

Checking in: Denmark, England, France, Germany, Norway, Spain, and Sweden have all automatically qualified for the World Cup.
