More Details
This morning, United States Football Federation (US soccer) announced that the USWNT will cap off 2024 with a December 3rd friendly against the Netherlands in The Hague.
The match comes three days after the United States (US) takes on 2022 Euros champions England at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.
“In order for our team to keep learning and growing, and for the coaching staff to continue to evaluate players, we need to play the best teams possible,” said USWNT coach Emma Hayes.

Meanwhile, a documentary on 2023 FIFA World Cup champions Spain is set to hit Netflix on November 1st, featuring star players Jenni Hermoso, Alexia Putellas, and Aitana Bonmatí speaking directly about their fight for institutional change.

The film follows the team from 2022’s boycott through the 2024 sexual assault charges stemming from ex- Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) president Luis Rubiales’s non-consensual kiss of forward Hermoso.
Netflix’s English title — It’s All Over: The Kiss That Changed Spanish Football — differs in framing from the Spanish title, #SeAcabó: Diario de las Campeonas, or It’s Over.
The Champions’ Diary is inciting online criticism for centering the assault instead of the players’ pursuit of justice.
