More Details
The United States (U.S) comfortably defeated Nigeria 4-0 behind a brace from Sophia Smith and tallies from Lindsey Horan and Alex Morgan.
The U.S. started the same eleven players from the CONCACAF Women’s championship game.
Notably, Nigeria was missing a number of starters after a disappointing fourth-place TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON 2022) finish.
